ANCIENT MOZAMBIQUE RELICS

GP Forestry recently visited the semi arid forests of western Mozambique. During our land surveying we located small sections of the forest floor filled with ancient fallen petrified trees/wood.


This incredible find contained tree species that were not consistent with the current surrounding living tree species. This would suggest we were looking at some ancient relics from a time when the climate was more tropical.
