MOPANE FOREST IN MOZAMBIQUE

Mozambique has some stunning deciduous forests, this is a forest of mopane (Colophospermum mopane) with a large baobab tree (Adansonia digitata) in the background. Some local people have concerns with the extent of the timber harvesting in the region.
