Wooly Butt (Eucalyptus miniata) is one of the most picturesque trees in the northern Australian landscape. Commonly located nearby rocky outcrops, the site of these trees can be breathtaking.
For the Aboriginal people, the Wooly Butt is an important season indicator tree as well as providing many uses including didgeridoos.
The specimen was found near Lake Argyle.
